MARCHESE WALTER
Walter Marchese was born in Codevigo (Padova) in 1958. The main theme of his work is the landscape, especially the Tuscan countryside with its flowery fields, its vineyards and farms located in the middle of the hills. Looking at his sunflowers fields, among the tens of flowers he paints, you won’t be able to find two of them which are equal for his being so attentive in capturing the minute detail of each one. Lavender in Provence or the small yellow flowers which grow up in the Lake district in northern Italy are other subjects of his colourful work. You can feel the wind blowing through the flowers and their leaves which makes them move in a graceful way. When he paints Portofino, the unique small village is reproduced on the canvas with the same soft tones.
