Enzo Casillo was born in Naples in 1958. He now lives and works in Desenzano del Garda, on the homonymous lake. Supporter of the photorealism, his work is modern and bright. When he paints Portofino it is always a sunny day; he wants to transmit joy and happiness choosing the nicest corners of the Ligurian Riviera. Very popular in the artistic world, he is awarded at the Biennale of Venice. His paintings are in the most important private collections in Italy and abroad. He has a distinctive style and his landscapes are easy to recognize for their bright and vivacious colors. The blues of the Mediterranean sea distinguish a lot of his works, as well as the vegetation surrounding the beach villages of the Ligurian Riviera or the Amalfi Coast.
