Nicola Berardino was born in Andria (Bari) in 1961. He attended the “Painting School”in Gattico (NO), directed by the artist Piero Leo and the Engrowing School guided by Luigi Astuto. He has been working in this field for over 30 years now. He refined his artistic education in Paris, fascinated by the great Impressionist artists like Monet , Manet, Degas and Renoir. In Paris he takes part of this artistic movement and defined his technique. His technique is peculiar because of the knife-pallet, a difficult method with great results. Lago d’Orta, Lago Maggiore, Venice, Portofino, Positano: Nicola Berardino is a master in color combination, through which animates the subjects represented in his works, whether they are water, light or glare of innumerable shades. Since 1985 he has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions that have attracted wide acclaim both critics and audiences. He exhibits in Italian and European galleries, on an American cruise ship circuit, and realizes exhibitions both in Italy and abroad.
