His works are made in oil on canvas preceded by a process of “Imprimitura”, that is the preparation of a material background composed of sand and performed strictly with a spatula, as per family tradition. The construction of the frames and the punching of the canvas are carried out entirely by hand. He loves working on large sizes to achieve a strong impact on the observer, amplified by the glazes of color and the background with details in silver leaf and quartz powder.
